About Us

Known as the industry leader, 305 Sports Basketball Academy is serious basketball program. With 5 locations throughout Miami-Dade and Broward, in the past 10+ years we have coached & mentored well over 20,000 kids of all levels. We have grown to become the largest recreational basketball academy in South Florida. As an industry leader we are constantly working on growing and improving the program by asking parents for their feedback. We are a team environment and culture, our goal is the overall wellbeing of our kids. 

MIAMI HEAT ARENA EXPERIENCE

Every season we have a 305 Sports Night event, which takes place at the Miami Heat Arena. For this event, we take our athletes to the Miami Heat home game, which consists of several activities in which they high-five the players or stand with them for the national anthem.
We also run an All-Star game on the Miami Heat court in which we have the Parents vs. Coaches and the Players play Park vs. Park. This is a very memorable experience in which we all come together as an academy to enjoy ourselves, play a great game, and bond with our parents and peers.

305 SPORTS ANNUAL TOY DRIVE

One of our greatest pride and joy as an academy is our 305 Sports Annual Toy Drive. We collect toys as a team and donate them to different organizations. With this, we teach the kids to be grateful for what they have and learn how to help others. They feel accomplished and fulfilled as individuals.

305 SPORTS IN VENEZUELA

This location was created in 2020. We pride ourselves to say we have provided uniforms, basketball equipment & have trained hundreds of extremely low income kids here on our philanthropic journey, ran by Coach Morris.

RECOGNITION

On 11/3/2016, Coach Laz received a recognition award from Commissioner Jose Pepe Diaz for all he has done in the community in the past 3 years. We have influenced & helped over 1,000 different kids positively through sports & mentoring. Coach Laz’s passion & hard work have truly flourished.

We have been at 305 youth sports basketball program for 2 years now and we couldn’t be happier. We joined them after moving from VA and my son switching sports (soccer to basketball) so it was a big deal for him that this would work out well and IT DID! The whole coaching staff is awesome, even if you are not on their team the coaches care for the kids’ improvement. Organization is awesome and the environment is great, kids have lots of fun and improve their game noticeably. Also, their summer camp is awesome as well!
